J. Ned Dempsey

Ned is the founder of Century West Engineering, and was its President for over twenty years. Ned is a Pneu-Logic founder, and a principle shareholder. He was appointed to the Oregon Sustainability Board (OSB) by Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski, and has served or is currently serving as co-Chair of Portland Development Commission’s Sustainability Industries Task Force, chair of the Oregon Business Council’s Natural Resources Committee, vice Chair of Oregon Futures Research Commission, appointed by former Oregon Governor Victor Atiyeh.

Franklin J. Agardy, PhD

Dr. Agardy is former tenured full professor at San Jose State University and retired President of URS Corporation. In 2005, Dr. Agardy was the recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award from the University of California. He is the author and coauthor of numerous technical books, and has served as a board member of several engineering companies, assisting in taking them public.

Gary Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman is a partner in the Bend Surgery Center, principal of Deschutes Medical Products, Inc. He practiced surgery at Bend Memorial Clinic from 1975 to 2000. Dr. Hoffman served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Cascade Bancorp from 2000 until 2005, when he was appointed Chairman. He was the owner of Grand Yachts Northwest from March 2001 until May 2005 and is a co-founder and board member of Deschutes Medical Products, Inc. in Bend, Oregon.
